What is Rebar (Dandi ) ?

Rebar, also known as reinforcing steel, is a type of steel bar used to reinforce concrete and other masonry structures. It is used to add tensile strength and help hold the concrete in tension, making it more resistant to cracking and other forms of stress. Rebar is typically made of low-carbon steel and is available in a variety of sizes and grades.

One popular grade of rebar is Fe500, which is known for its high strength and ductility. Fe500 rebar is often used in the construction of bridges, high-rise buildings, and other structures where high tensile strength is required.

In Nepal, some popular brands of rebar include Hama, Jagdamba Rhino D, and Panchakanya. It’s always a good idea to do some research and compare prices and quality before choosing a brand of rebar for your construction project.
